Stop the Danger of Nuclear War Now
Third Seminar of Political and Social Leaders of the World
Nov. 4—The Schiller Institute on Nov. 3 released its announcement of a third in a series of seminars, convening an increasing number of former and serving elected officials, along with political and social leaders from across the world to bring the world back from the brink of nuclear war. The initiating seminar was on October 7. The upcoming conference is open to the public. Registration, which is required to access simultaneous translation in Spanish, German, and French, is available here.
A third seminar of current and former elected officials and other political and social leaders of the world will be held on Nov. 22, under the urgent call, “For World Peace: Stop the Danger of Nuclear War Now.” The decision to convoke this third seminar was taken by the leading participants in the Second Seminar of Current and Former Elected Officials of the World, which was initiated by the Schiller Institute and met on October 27 in an online Zoom conference hosted in a conference room of the Mexican Congress.
The venue of the upcoming Nov. 22 event will also be the Mexican Congress, with a growing list of sponsoring institutions and adherents to the Declaration, which also serves as the invitation to this series of seminars (see below for the text of the Declaration and the full list of signers). Political and social leaders from around the world are urged to add their names to this Declaration, as well as to register to attend. Because of the rapidly growing support for this initiative from around the world, as the danger of nuclear war escalates, the third seminar will be expanded to consist of two panels. Details will be forthcoming.
