LaRouche Gets Ballot Status
in California
Nov. 29--California Secretary of State Bill Jones announced on November 27 the selection of 15 presidential candidates to appear on California's March 26 primary election ballot, including Lyndon LaRouche. Aside from President Clinton, LaRouche will be the only other Democrat to appear on the ballot.
LaRouche's campaign has also already filed for ballot status in Maine, and is filing in Colorado on November 30.
The LaRouche campaign plans to be on the ballot in 37 states. In 1992, when LaRouche also ran for the Democratic presidential nomination, his name appeared on primary ballots in a total of 31 states.
This week, the LaRouche campaign also plans its second submission for federal matching fund to the Federal Election Commission in Washington, for a total of $260,000.
