New York Times Picked Up On LaRouche's Exposé of
Saudis' Role in 9/11, But They Did Not Mention Cheney
July 29, 2007 (EIRNS)—The Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee (LPAC) issued the following release today.Threatening the Saudis to make them cut out their armed subversion in Iraq, the New York Times today reminded its readers of the Saudi role in 9/11, which has been covered up by the Cheney-Bush administration. The unstated source of this warning is LPAC, especially our expose of the BAE scandal.
"The Bush administration and Saudi Arabia's ruling family have a lot in common, including oil, shared rivals like Iran, and a penchant for denial that has allowed both to overlook the Saudis' enabling role in the Sept. 11 attacks," says the Times' second editorial today.
This is due to us, said Lyndon LaRouche. We put that on the table. It had been ignored, but it was put on the agenda, and it will stay there.
The Times exposed the Saudis' extremist Sunni armed subversion in Iraq, in a front-page story last Friday, July 27. Their account echoed the exposure which LPAC launched in late 2006, but the Times omitted the special role of Dick Cheney in the plot, with Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan.
