HBPA Introduced in Florida House of Representatives
Oct. 13, 2007 (EIRNS)—Florida yesterday joined New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Illinois as states where Lyndon LaRouche's Homeowners and Bank Protection Act has been formally introduced as legislation. It is pending in Alabama and Tennessee.
The Florida legislature is concluding a special session called to deal with a $1 billion revenue shortfall due to the housing market collapse, and simultaneously beginning another special session on property tax reform.
The form of the Florida resolution closely echoes that of Pennsylvania.
