LaRouche Declares Obama `Impeachable'
July 22, 2009 (EIRNS)—In a statement issued immediately after President Obama's July 22 press conference, Lyndon LaRouche declared:
"President Obama is now impeachable, because he has, in effect, proposed legislation which is an exact copy of the legislation for which the Hitler regime was condemned in the post-World War II trials. This is an impeachable offense; to propose such a thing in this time, is an impeachable poffense."
LaRouche was referring specifically to President Obama's repeated calls, during that press conference, for the establishing of "an independent board of doctors and health-care experts," who would make the cost-cutting decisions that he does not trust the Congress to make. The President cited this aspect of the plan at least five times during the press conference, while inveighing against "unnecessary" medical procedures which he claimed were raising the cost of health care for a suffering population.
Obama's Nazi Budget Director, Peter Orszag, has already drafted a bill to establish what he calls IMAC, an Independent Medicare Advisory Council, which would be tasked to set (i.e., lower) rates for medical procedures. In an op-ed published in the July 23 Washington Post, the President called the proposal "MedPAC on steroids," a reference to the fact that he, and his Nazi advisors, don't think the current Medicare rate-setting commission has enough clout.
The Nazi mentality, as well as the methodology, of the President's health-care fix, came through clearly in his July 22 appearance. Obama directly blamed the elderly and the poor—those on Medicare and Medicaid—as the cause of the nation's fiscal problems. In so doing, he was admitting the intention to permit the HMOs and insurance companies, along with the financial high-rollers who created current bankruptcy crisis, to continue to rip off the public, and take it out of the hide of the victims.
While declaring the President impeachable, for stating his intent to violate the General Welfare clause of the Constitution, LaRouche stressed that the leading task before the population at this time is to defeat the Hitler health bill. This defeat is indispensable to preventing the mad drive by Obama's British backers to impose fascism on their historic enemy, the United States, in the midst of the worst economic breakdown crisis in modern history.
