The Dumping of This President
Is Fairly in Process

Aug. 19, 2010 (EIRNS)—In his report yesterday to the nation on LPAC-TV, Lyndon LaRouche began his assessment as follows:

"We have a situation, obviously, in which the dumping of this President is fairly in process. The dumping is not secure, either in general fact, nor in timing. But, the word has been out since the middle of this past week: The Indian sign is up. He's out. When, and how, is still to be decided."

LaRouche's evaluation took into consideration a number of indications, including a prominent article in the Daily Telegraph of Aug. 12, entitled "The stunning decline of Barack Obama: 10 key reasons why the Obama presidency is in meltdown." LaRouche noted that author Nile Gardiner was "right on the spot," in suggesting, as he did, that "the last few weeks have been a nightmare for President Obama, in a summer of discontent in the United States which has deeply unsettled the ruling liberal elites...." This was a signal piece, LaRouche noted in later discussion, reflecting the reality of Obama's collapse in popularity with the U.S. population.

Indeed, there are forces within the U.S. institutions themselves, who are coming to the conclusion that they have to get rid of Obama well before the November elections, as LaRouche has insisted. The environment is such that one columnist even opined:

"Honest to goodness, the man just does not get it. He might be forced to pull a Palin and resign before his first term is over."

The clear fact is that Obama is leaving Washington for 10 days, effectively vacating the White House during the period of the most devastating financial crisis, in terms of its implications, in living memory. Many are asking: Will he, should he, come back? As LaRouche put it Aug. 18:

"The first thing that has to be accomplished, is, Obama out of the Presidency. At least, de facto, out of the Presidency, where he no longer controls policy in any degree. And Geithner, of course, his 'little boy', is going to have to find new toys to play with."
