Zepp-LaRouche Calls for
International Day of Action
To Stop World War III
March 1, 2012 (EIRNS)—Coming off a highly successful international conference in Berlin, hosted by the Schiller Institute, Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche on Feb. 29 issued a call for an international day of action on Saturday, March 3, in order to widen the mobilization against the potential British Empire provocation of a thermonuclear confrontation.
In her call, she emphasizes that the danger which led to the LaRouche movement's Christmas season mobilization has not lessened in the least. It is likely that the actions taken by the U.S. military, led by Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, were the decisive factor in preventing a war from breaking out already. But the confluence of actions by the pro-war faction coming together in early March, represents a newly dangerous point.
Zepp-LaRouche noted that, as the Berlin conference made clear, the only feasible approach for a durable peace is a shift in paradigm, away from oligarchical, imperial, green, monetarist thinking. It is this thinking which led to the geostrategic policies that are behind the targetting of Russia and China, and therefore the World War III danger.
