"Declassify 28 Pages" Press Conference Next Tuesday, Sept. 9

Sept. 3, 2014 (EIRNS)—Today, three Congressional offices announced a bi-partisan press conference for next Tuesday, Sept. 9,

"on H.Res. 428, a resolution they have introduced to make public 28 pages of the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 2001, that were originally classified by President George W. Bush and have remained classified under President Barack Obama."

The announcement continues:

"The resolution states that declassification of the pages is necessary to provide the American public with the full truth surrounding the tragic events of September 11, 2001, particularly relating to the involvement of foreign governments.

"Also attending the press conference will be representatives from 9/11 Families United for Justice against Terrorism, and family members of victims injured or killed in the 9/11 attacks."

The sponsors of the press conference are Reps. Walter Jones (R-N.C.), Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), and Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.).

The press conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 9 in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
