U.S. Carrier Strike Force Arrives in South Korea

March 13, 2016 (EIRNS)—The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis arrived in Busan today as part of Obama’s massive show of force against North Korea and China. The Stennis has the capacity for 90 fighter jets, with a crew of 6,500. The J.C. Stennis Strike Group includes four accompanying warships—three guided-missile destroyers and one guided-missile cruiser.

The Korea Times notes that the JCS Strike Group is the centerpiece of the "Great Green Fleet," a year-long initiative highlighting the U.S. Navy’s efforts to transform its energy use to increase operational capability. A lot of energy would be saved by ending Obama’s war provocations.

The RT coverage of Obama’s interview in the Atlantic this month focused on Obama’s war plans against China. Under a title which says Obama "says conflict with China is possible," they quote the killer-in-chief:

"If it [China] views the world only in terms of regional spheres of influence, then not only do we see the potential for conflict with China, but we will find ourselves having more difficulty dealing with these other challenges that are going to come."
