Former Employees File Class Action Suit vs. Wells Fargo

Sept. 25, 2016 EIRNS)—The Sunday New York Times reports that two California-based former Wells Fargo employees who were fired for refusing to create fake accounts, have filed a class-action suit versus the bank for $2.6 billion, charging that employees were fired for not meeting new account quotas and that the bank executives were fully aware of the ongoing fraud, and condoned it, because their priority was to pressure low-wage employees to boost sales of the bank’s products.
