Glass-Steagall Resolution Introduced into Pennsylvania State Senate
June 16, 2017 (EIRNS)—Republican Senators Mike Folmer, Bob Mensch, and Patrick J. Stefano this week introduced Senate Resolution 83,
"A Resolution urging the Congress of the United States to enact legislation to reinstate the separation of commercial and investment banking functions in effect under the Glass-Steagall Act, and support repeal of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act,"
into the Pennsylvania State Senate.
There is already a resolution urging reinstatement of Glass-Steagall (H.R. 268) in the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
The Pennsylvania State Senate is majority Republican.
