Lindsey Graham Holds Press Conference on Democrats’ Kangaroo Court

Oct. 24, 2019 (EIRNS)—Lindsey Graham held a press conference this afternoon about his resolution in the Senate to condemn the constitutional atrocity taking place in the House under the leadership of Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has announced that he is supporting the resolution which calls for a vote for formal impeachment proceedings and rules which allow for due process and fundamental legal fairness.  The resolution is gaining strength in the Senate and is intended to demonstrate that unless the House travesty changes, impeachment charges will be summarily rejected by the Senate.  Addressing the media, Graham put his Constitutional arguments into the vernacular by stating that if “we,” the Republicans were doing what the Democrats are doing, “you would be kicking the shit out of us.”
