Lindsey Graham Wants British Agent Christopher Steele’s Source Declassified
July 15, 2020 (EIRNS)—Sen. Lindsey Graham, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has called for the declassification of the FBI’s notes on their interview with the “Primary Sub-Source” who reportedly provided Christopher Steele with the garbage shoveled into Steele’s dossier against Donald Trump. The source reportedly said the info was barroom gossip with no credibility, which he did not expect would be published as true.
“There’s a memo about that interview,” Graham said on a podcast with Trey Gowdy on Fox on July 14. DOJ Inspector General Michael “Horowitz found it—it was 40 pages. My staff has finally gotten a look at it. It’s classified. I’m going to try to get it unclassified.”
It would certainly be useful to see the document. However, Graham is increasingly guilty of making promises to expose the crimes of the Russiagate probe, then doing nothing. Also, his intent is less than genuine, since he is not interested in exposing the British intelligence coordination of the entire Russiagate hoax, but rather to attempt to dismiss the Steele dossier as “Russian disinformation,” which is also a favorite line by Fox News’ Hannity and others who want to protect the British Empire and blame all problems in the world on Russia.
