CBS Battles To Save Russiagate

Aug. 25, 2020 (EIRNS)—The regular CBS “60 Minutes” program Sunday night dragged out a dead horse—the British Russiagate hoax, that Russia stole the 2016 election. With no shame, CBS (one EIR wag dubbed it “See BS”) ignored the fact that former NSA technical director Bill Binney has now thoroughly disproven the “Big Lie” that Russia, or anyone else, could have hacked the DNC computers to help Donald Trump.

The segment featured John Demers, head of the Justice Department’s national security division, who stated as a known fact that the 12 Russians, indicted by Robert Mueller’s witch hunt as “GRU agents,” had created Guccifer 2.0 and ran the alleged hack. He said that if these 12 were ever to be put on trial, it would be a slam dunk that the Justice Department could prove the case in court (knowing, of course, that such a trial will never take place).

“60 Minutes” then dragged in the critical lie that the stolen DNC emails were made public through Russian collusion with Julian Assange and “dirty trickster Roger Stone.”

This exposes the purpose for this re-run of discredited and disproven nonsense—the British Empire and their assets in the U.S. are panicked that President Donald Trump is considering a pardon for Edward Snowden, and possibly also Julian Assange, while they are equally panicked that Roger Stone is openly working with the LaRouche organization to move President Trump to do just that, and more.
