Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Trump, and Biden Responds with Mostly Lawyers
Sept. 5, 2020 (EIRNS)—Patrick Yoes, president of the Fraternal Order of Police, the largest police union in the nation with 355,000 members, issued a statement today endorsing Donald Trump for President: “The FOP is proud to endorse a candidate who calls for law and order across our nation.” Numerous police organizations have backed the President’s reelection.
The Biden campaign, facing a groundswell of anger among police and citizens over anarchy in the streets which the Democrats have openly supported, released a list of “current and former law enforcement officials” endorsing his campaign. Of less than 200 names, the largest category were prosecutors and attorneys!
