Niall Ferguson Is Hopeful a President Biden Could Launch ‘Another Democratic War’

Oct. 22, 2020 (EIRNS)—In an Oct. 6 discussion with fellow Hoover Institution pundits, British Empire apostle Niall Ferguson assured the others that when it comes to foreign policy issues like China, Biden may not be the softie they fear. As VP, Biden wanted action against Syria, Obama did not; look back at his record as a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee which shows he was no softie during the Cold War; no ideological dove was a good friend of John McCain—and they were good friends, said Ferguson. “We might be surprised by how hawkish Joe Biden could be in the right kind of crisis;” we could get the “scenario of another Democratic war.”
