Biden and Obama Keep Targeting Trump on COVID
Oct. 25, 2020 (EIRNS)—Sleepy Joe and Creepy Barack spent a good part of the weekend attacking President Donald Trump on the issue of the COVID pandemic, considering it a weak flank of Trump’s, as per the earlier marching orders from British military intelligence. Biden told supporters on Saturday that “yesterday was the worst day we had” with the coronavirus and Trump “is doing nothing.” Obama spoke at a sparsely attended Saturday drive-in rally in North Miami in Florida, and said that Trump “doesn’t even acknowledge the reality of what’s taking place across the country” in terms of COVID.
Trump’s response, as in Circleville, Ohio was to correctly say that the Democrats “are trying to hide all this corruption about the Biden family,” but then repeated his misguided criticism of increased testing: “In some ways it’s good. In many ways it’s foolish. Cases are up. If we tested half, cases would be half.” Otherwise, Trump used his remarks at the Ohio rally to very productively expose many of the aspects of the Biden corruption scandal.
Reality has kept the COVID issue front and center, highlighted by the report that Marc Short, chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence, tested positive for COVID-19 on Oct. 24. Pence and his wife have both tested negative since then, and Pence will continue to campaign, saying the White House medical staff cleared the decision.
