Liberal CNN Commentator Van Jones Says Trump ‘Has Done Good Stuff for the Black Community’

Oct. 25, 2020 (EIRNS)—On a CNN panel discussion Oct. 23 about the Trump-Biden presidential debate, host Jake Tapper blanched when liberal Black panelist Van Jones stated:

“Donald Trump—and I get beat up by liberals every time I say this, but I’m going to keep saying it—he has done good stuff for the Black community. Opportunity zone stuff, Black college stuff. I worked with him on criminal justice stuff. I saw Donald Trump have African American people, formerly incarcerated, in the White House—embraced them, treated them well. There’s a side to Donald Trump that I think he does not get enough credit for.”

Joe Biden clearly has growing problems in the Black community. An MSNBC interview with “Undecided African American Women in Atlanta” included the following responses: “We were supposed to grab onto Kamala, with that Black girl magic, but that didn’t happen.” And “Too often we automatically think that because someone looks like you, that they’re gonna have your best interests at heart—and that’s just not simply true.”
