Trump Camp Warns, Democrats Will Try To ‘Delegitimize’ Election Success, Claim It’s a ‘Red Mirage’

Nov. 3, 2020 (EIRNS)—In a statement issued last night, Justin Clark, deputy campaign manager of the Trump campaign, issued an urgent statement to the media, warning that should Democratic candidate Joe Biden not get a large enough lead in early battleground state voting, desperate Democrats are prepared to swing into action and charge that a Trump claim of electoral success is simply a “Red Mirage.” Democratic operatives are advising surrogates and media “to create a smoke screen by casting blame all around—imagining postal delays or falsely claiming that mail-in ballots that have simply not been returned should be considered legitimate votes that need to be counted.”

The statement warns that the Biden campaign has prepared TV ads and will deploy to “further cement the ‘Red Mirage’ misinformation, seeking to convince people that all Joe Biden would need for victory is more time, extending well beyond Election Day.” Moreover, the statement adds, a Biden phalanx of lawyers will try to “loosen election integrity so they can steal this election,” since Biden is a candidate who “excites virtually no one.” This last gasp of the Biden campaign, the Trump campaign warns, “will be ugly and it will be ruthless.”

Add to this the statement made last night by Biden’s campaign manager, Jennifer O’Malley Dillon, reported by Breitbart, that “we want to be fundamentally clear, what we believe to be true, under no scenario would Donald Trump be declared the victor on election night.” And then there’s the ever-sanctimonious House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who told National Public Radio last night that Congress is ready should it be required to determine the outcome of the 2020 election. “We understand what the law is and the preeminence of the role of Congress and specifically the House of Representatives when it comes to counting the votes,” she declared. “But let’s not worry about that right now. We’re ready. We’re prepared. We’ve been ready for a while, because we see this irresponsibility of the President, his disrespect for the Constitution, for our democracy, and for the integrity of our elections. So we’re ready for him,” she boasted.
