Trump’s Lawyers Respond to Pennsylvania Judge’s Decision: On to the Supreme Court

Nov. 22, 2020 (EIRNS)—The media headlines make it clear: Pennsylvania Judge Matthew Brann “eviscerated President Donald Trump’s attempt” to disqualify fraudulent votes with such a “sharply worded” decision, that “Trump’s last-ditch effort to cling to power is slipping.” The Trump legal team, however, put a different spin on the matter: “Today’s decision turns out to help us in our strategy to get expeditiously to the U.S. Supreme Court. Although we fully disagree with this opinion, we’re thankful to the Obama-appointed judge for making this anticipated decision quickly, rather than simply trying to run out the clock.”

In an interview today with Fox TV, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany was asked about this, and how the Trump legal team planned to “break through” the media barrage against Trump. McEnany first listed some of the documented fraud that has come to light, and then remarked: “ ‘Our justice system is where that will play, and that is something that the media cannot get in the way of. They can try to hide it, but the American people are smart. The 73 million people who showed up to vote for this President—the most-ever votes for a sitting President—they have a voice. We will be heard.”
