British Malthusians Attack the Mayflower, ‘No New Worlds’
Nov. 28, 2020 (EIRNS)—The Malthusians in the U.K.—the birthplace and continuing home base for the genocide lobby—chose to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, from Plymouth, U.K., to the “New World,” by constructing a massive lighting panel, 63 meters long by 6 meters high, on the coastline, reading “No New Worlds.” Euphemistically described as “artwork,” the structure is named “Speedwell” after the ship which sailed with the Mayflower but wasn’t seaworthy and had to turn back.
According to the “Mayflower 400 UK” website, the monstrosity is intended to induce people to “ask complex questions about themselves, the damaged planet and the legacy of the pivotal journeys made by the Mayflower and its companion ship the Speedwell,” and to “imagine new worlds of living, caring and dying well together.” This will give people “an opportunity to reflect and find better ways to understand the impact of those pivotal voyages and the ongoing colonial process,” said one of the “artists.”
