Supreme Court Rejects Texas Lawsuit v. Four Swing States

Dec. 11, 2020 (EIRNS)—In a short order released by the Supreme Court this afternoon, the Texas case challenging the election results in the states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, with Amicus briefs from 17 other states, from President Donald Trump, and a number of members of Congress, was rejected. “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another state conducts its elections,” the court said, dismissing all other related claims as moot.
