Speaker Pelosi Shrieks That for Trump and Capitol Riot, ‘All Roads Lead to Putin’

Jan. 8 , 2021 (EIRNS)—House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, at her press briefing Jan. 7, when she announced that President Donald Trump must be put out of office within the next 13 days, made a big point of blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for Trump’s actions and the Capitol Hill rioters’ attack. She said that, “All roads lead to Putin.” She called Trump, “a complete tool of Putin,” who was acting to “diminish” U.S. democracy. “Putin wants to undermine democracy—that’s what he’s all about.... Trump gave him the greatest gift yesterday.” She then went on to describe what steps she demands must be taken to remove Trump from office, because he was “inciting sedition,” and other acts she accuses him of.
