British Want Commission with Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi on It, To Investigate Trump

Jan. 19 , 2021 (EIRNS)—The British monarchy’s Royal Institute for International Affairs/Chatham House think tank issued instructions last week for what the Biden administration must adopt as its foreign policy priorities. Under the title, “Foreign Policy Priorities for the Biden Administration,” top on its list was “fix America’s democracy.” Unless the United States restores “confidence in democracy” at home, it will not be able to face down the global challenge of “powerful and competent authoritarianism” such as seen in China, they instruct.

The head of Chatham House’s Americas Program Dr. Leslie Vinjamuri dictated three steps deemed “essential, though not sufficient alone” for “fixing” our democracy. Second on her list: “It is essential to create a commission to record—and ensure accountability for—the worst violations of the Donald Trump era; this should extend far beyond the more narrow focus of impeachment.” That makes clear what these Brits mean by “democracy.”

When the Queen speaks, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi hop to it. “Congress needs to establish an investigative body like the 9/11 Commission to determine Trump’s ties to Putin so we can repair the damage to our national security and prevent a puppet from occupying the presidency ever again,” Clinton tweeted yesterday.

Her tweet was accompanied by a clip from her discussion with the Madame Speaker of the House that day. Both ladies displayed extreme symptoms of “Trump and Putin Derangement Syndrome” (better put: just plain “derangement”). Clinton tells Pelosi she “would love to see [Trump’s] phone records to see if he was talking with Putin on the day the insurgents invaded our Capitol,” raving that Trump, “his enablers, his accomplices, his cult followers” have no regard for democracy. “Do you think we need a 9/11 type commission?” Pelosi agrees 100%, declaring, “what happened last week was a gift to Putin, because Putin wants to undermine our democracy and around the world ... they are Putin’s puppets. They were doing Putin’s business ... [in the Capitol]. Yes, we should have a 9/11 commission to investigate, and there is strong support in the Congress to do that.”
