Half of Americans Think Biden Is Not Mentally or Physically Fit To Be President, Reveals Rasmussen Poll
March 10 , 2021 (EIRNS)—A new Rasmussen Reports poll revealed that only 50% of those surveyed think that Joe Biden is mentally or physically fit to hold the office of President of the United States. The poll of 1,000 likely U.S. voters, taken in the first week of March, asked two questions: “How confident are you that Joe Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States?” and “How concerned are you that President Biden has not held a press conference?” Only 50% of those replying to the first question said they were confident in Biden’s abilities, while 52% replying to the second question said they were “concerned” Biden hadn’t yet given a press conference, Newsmax reported.
Biden’s failing mental capabilities are becoming a big issue, as seen in his March 8 White House remarks on International Women’s Day, when he couldn’t remember the name of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. In his column today on his turcopolier.com blog, retired Army intelligence officer Pat Lang, asked the relevant question, “Is Joe Biden Seriously Unwell?” He quoted former presidential political adviser Dick Morris, who told Newsmax’s “The Count” program March 6 that no other President “has been missing from the beginning,” and predicted that the Democrats will likely invoke the 25th Amendment before Biden’s term in office is finished.
Lang himself described Biden’s situation as “elder abuse. That is what I called it months ago and that is what it is. This man is disintegrating before our eyes, and in his more lucid moments he probably knows that. I have previously expressed the thought that it is very dangerous for him to have the nuclear football and the Gold Codes in his grasp.” It’s clear, he said, that “the VP is slowly taking over for him.” Indeed. Kamala Harris continues to conduct foreign policy, having spoken yesterday with Norway’s Prime Minister Emma Solberg, whom she thanked for the “close security partnership with the United States and generous contributions to development and health security efforts around the world,” according to White House readout..
