White House ‘Summit for Democracy’ To Discuss Malthusian Agenda—Not the Real World

Aug. 11, 2021 (EIRNS)—The White House announced today that after “reinvigorating democracy at home,” and carrying out an array of wildly successful policy initiatives on several fronts, as well as rebuilding “our alliances with our democratic allies and partners,” President Biden will be convening a “Leaders Summit for Democracy,” to take place virtually on Dec. 9-10. Heads of state, representatives of civil society, the private sector and philanthropists will be invited—for what purpose? To discuss the global financial crisis and required solutions? Famine in Africa? The continuing Covid-19 pandemic? Not a chance.

This gathering is being called to “galvanize commitments and initiatives across three principal themes: defending against authoritarianism, fighting corruption, and promoting respect for human rights.” Absent any discussion of real world problems which require urgent solutions now, this boils down to the same killer Malthusian agenda that the Davos crowd is trying to shove down the throats of the rest of the world, particularly the developing nations. The plan is then to convene another conference in December of next year, so that these democracies can “showcase progress made against their commitments.”
