‘Kyiv Security Forum’ Insists, Russia ‘Simply Must Be Destroyed ... They Are Just Barbarians’

Dec. 1, 2022 (EIRNS)—Quite a witches coven collected in Kiev today for the “Kyiv Security Forum” (KSF). Billed as “All for Victory,” it was convened to strengthen the “international solidarity against the Russian enemy.” Of course, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, who bragged in 2014 that the U.S. had spent $5 billion to violently overthrow the elected government of Ukraine, was a featured speaker. The KSF was founded by the “Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation,” named after “Yats” was personally selected by Nuland in February 2014 to be the post-coup Prime Minister.

Other luminaries included the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam; retired four-star U.S. Generals David Petraeus and Wesley Clark; President and CEO of the Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe; U.K. Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons; and Ukraine Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov. From Ukraine’s Office of the President, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, set the tone:

The Russian Federation “simply must be destroyed so that they cease to exist as a country within the limits in which they exist.... They are just barbarians. And when you say that we should sit down at the table with these barbarians and talk about something, I generally think that it will be inappropriate.”

But Danilov was just warming up: “I consider Hitler and Putin to be Siamese twins ... they are similar people.... We are different, we have nothing to do with you. You are Muscovy, which was only on its territory, you are thieves who constantly stole someone’s history. You constantly demand something, but you are not at all worthy of anyone in the world communicating with you.”
