Kremlin Will ‘Not Accept’ Price Cap on Russian Oil Exports

Dec. 3, 2022 (EIRNS)—Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, speaking with reporters today, said of the oil price cap: “We are analyzing it now. Some preparation has been made.” He was addressing the $60 a barrel price cap on seaborne oil from Russia, decreed by the EU, the G7 and Australia. He said, “We will not accept this cap, and we will inform you ... after the analysis, which will be carried out quickly.”
