‘Modern Diplomacy’ Site Posts Very Supportively on Feb. 19 Washington Rally

Feb. 5, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—Even as Diane Sare, Nick Brana and Angela McCardle were organizing on the Schiller Institute’s conference for the Feb. 19 “Rage Against the War Machine” demonstration and rallies in Washington and other cities, a post which motivated that demonstration appeared on the Modern Diplomacy website. Dated Feb. 4 and signed by “Newsroom,” the post is headed by the poster/banner for the Washington rally under the headline, “February 19: An anti-interventionist coalition to March to White House from Lincoln Memorial.” It describes the demonstration as “a new Right-Left coalition to oppose the war,” a united front of the Libertarian Party and People’s Party; and gives its demands: “Not One More Penny for War in Ukraine”; “Negotiate Peace”; “Stop the War Inflation”; and “Disband NATO.”
