Helga Zepp-LaRouche Again Targetted by Kiev’s ‘Countering Disinformation’ Hitlist
June 2, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—Ukraine’s notorious Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) published May 31 a “Digest of Hate Speech by Russian Propagandists, 05/14/23-05/24/23” that twice accuses Schiller Institute founder and leader Helga Zepp-LaRouche of spreading Russian “hate speech” against both Ukraine “and its allies.” CCD labels as “Russian propaganda” and “hate speech” any advocacy of peace with Russia, any reference to Western and NATO’s responsibility for the war, or mention of swastikas and Hitler symbology adorning neo-Nazis in the ranks of Ukraine’s government and military.
Such CCD lies carry death threats. The CCD is the agency within President Zelenskyy’s National Security and Defense Council responsible for drawing up lists of alleged foreign “enemies” for prosecution or elimination as “information terrorists” threatening Ukraine’s “national security.” As EIR documented in its Sept. 2, 2022 dossier, “Global NATO Orders a Hit on Advocates of Peace,” the CCD—created, funded and guided by U.S., U.K., and NATO agencies—hands over its hitlists to Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) and to Myrotvorets, the public kill list established by neo-Nazi networks working with the Interior Ministry after Victoria Nuland’s 2014 Maidan coup.
Zepp-LaRouche was first added to the Myrotvorets kill list on May 28, 2022. Myrotvorets cited as the justification for accusing her of “war crime,” the CCD’s statement, issued that same day, labelling her as a “Russian propagandist” for having “organized an international discussion on the topic of a new security architecture for the world and the threat of World War III” two days before.
The CCD has kept Zepp-LaRouche at the top of their hitlists ever since. In its latest report, the CCD wrote that “employees of the Center for Countering Disinformation in cooperation with the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, having investigated the russian [sic] and international information space, recorded a new series of cases of enemy hate speech directed against Ukraine and its allies.” Zepp-LaRouche is named as repeating “enemy narratives aimed at discrediting the U.K.” on May 14, on the grounds that she reportedly said “the U.S., U.K. and NATO is at war with Russia over Ukraine”! Her alleged May 24 remark by which she is said to have aimed to discredit Ukraine and the U.K., is that “the British are contributing to the escalation of a nuclear conflict between the U.S., U.K. and NATO.”
The other advocates of peace (in Ukrainian) named in this report include Kim Dotcom, Jackson Hinkle, Sonia van den Ende, George Szamuely and Chay Bowes.
