Aside from both regular artillery and cluster rounds, the package also includes additional anti-aircraft missiles, 32 more Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, 32 Stryker armored personnel carriers, mine clearing equipment, anti-tank weapons, drones, small arms and ammunition, and other equipment.
“With this announcement, we will be able to provide Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of additional artillery ammunition immediately,” Undersecretary of Defense Colin Kahl said during a press briefing at the Pentagon. “This decision will ensure we can sustain our support for Ukraine by bridging us to a point where we are producing sufficient artillery ammunition on a monthly basis across the coalition.”
