Biden Administration Preparing Another Arms Package for Ukraine

Oct. 7, 2023, (EIRNS)—Reuters reported yesterday that despite the turmoil on Capitol Hill the Biden Administration is preparing yet another weapons package for the Kiev regime. This package will draw from the $5.4 billion in presidential drawdown authority left over the $6.2 billion that magically appeared last summer when the Pentagon decided it had been overvaluing the weapons it was sending to Ukraine.

The composition of the next round of U.S. weapons aid is still being formulated but is set to be unveiled on Oct. 11 at the 16th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels where security assistance will be a key topic, unnamed officials told Reuters. It was expected to have a value of around $200 million and could include similar ammunition and ground vehicles that have been in recent aid packages.
