LaRouche: Dispel the Nightmares with China Fusion Alternative
August 13, 2014 (EIRNS)—Returning to the podium at last week’s LaRouchePAC webcast, Lyndon LaRouche delivered a sharp polemical presentation, in which he dismissed the “nightmares” of the current British imperial drive for war and genocide as “bluff.” Forget your fears, and take up the pathway being led by China with its drive for helium-3-fueled fusion power, based on the Moon, LaRouche said, and a new global system based on real economic progress can take hold.
LaRouche’s intervention was followed by substantive presentations on the Chinese fusion program. The whole webcast can be viewed at www.larouchepac.com.
That the Chinese program is in high gear is reflected in almost daily news reports on its progress and plans. On August 10, China’s State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry announced that its next lunar mission, Chang’e-4, will test some of the technologies that the Chang’e-5 lunar sample return mission will require. The Chang’e-4 orbiter has already arrived at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, where it is being readied for launch this December.
On Aug. 11, Pravda.ru reported on a leak of the draft Russia Federal Space Program for 2016 to 2025, which reveals a proposal by the Russian space agency Roscosmos to begin work on the technology for a lunar base in 2018. The Russians and Chinese, as well as the Indians, are known to be intensifying their collaboration in high-technology areas such as space exploration.
